ad pepper media International N.V.: Record Sales and positive EBITDABack to overview
Nuremberg, Amsterdam, January 29, 2016 – Based on preliminary figures, ad pepper media International N.V. concluded the financial year 2015 with record sales of EUR 56,009k, corresponding to a growth of 18.5 percent compared to the equivalent previous year’s figure (2014: EUR 47,281k). The group’s growth was mainly driven by the Webgains segment, where sales rose by 33 percent to EUR 40,882k (2014: EUR 30,713k). Webgains thus accounted for around 73 percent of the group’s total sales and is again one of the fastest-growing performance networks.
Due to – among other factors – disposals of non-core activities, the gross margin for the past financial year showed a slight decline of 1.8 percent to EUR 15,844k (2014: EUR 16,131k) while operating expenses could be substantially reduced by 20.3 percent to EUR 15.986k (2014: EUR 20,070k). Proceeds from sales of company shareholdings contributed a total of EUR 386k to earnings.
All key profitability figures are therefore positive: EBITDA for the 2015 financial year amounted to EUR 539k (2014: EUR -3,729k), with the Webgains segment contributing EUR 1,349k (2014: EUR 102k). EBIT amounted to EUR 244k (2014: EUR -3,940k). EBT came to EUR 443k (2014: EUR -5,224k).
Liquid funds (including securities measured at fair value) amount to EUR 22,437k (December 31, 2014: EUR 19,639k). The group still has no liabilities to banks.
