Who we are

ad pepper media International N.V. was founded in 1999. In the days when ISDN was still in widespread use, we were hard at work developing media strategies for digital marketing that far exceeded the standards of the era. Much has changed since then – and not just in terms of technology. Advertising spending for online marketing has overtaken traditional media such as TV, print and radio. We were at the forefront of the development of online marketing, actively shaping and advancing the industry to meet new challenges as they arose.

Innovations require an innovative approach.

In 2007, the smartphone revolutionised the way in which we access the digital world and triggered a wave of innovations. New apps, platforms and technologies were launched virtually every day. How did we respond to this digital flood? By coming up with new concepts and ideas time and again. After all, the best way to respond to innovations is by being innovative.

Our experts are skilled at developing next-generation advertising formats that are adapted to suit local market conditions and designed to increase online sales. We draw on our own extensive experience as well as our capacity for innovation and technological expertise.

Ideally positioned. On the trading floor and around the world.

We have been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the prestigious Prime Standard segment since 2000. Our Group specialises in performance marketing and unites three companies under its banner: Webgains, ad pepper and ad agents.

From medium-sized enterprises to major corporations, our performance marketing strategies meet the individual requirements of our international customer base while having a clear, measurable and long-term impact. Although our businesses act independently of one another, they all benefit from the Group’s collective knowledge. And so do our customers.

Thank You!

ad pepper media managed its successful IPO at the end of 2000 as one of the last companies of the so-called Neuer Markt. This was followed by one of the worst economic crises in decades, with the dot-com bubble bursting and the 9/11-driven recession starting in 2001.

It’s now been almost 20 years since we took this daring step, and we haven’t just been resting on our laurels in the meantime. In fact, with record results and a squeaky-clean balance sheet, we’re in a healthier position today than ever before. Two decades of experience as of one of the leading performance marketing companies in Europe have also made us vigilant and prepared us for future economic headwinds.

This is something we are proud of: However, this success also makes us humble well knowing that currently many companies are struggling to survive. And with many people fearful of losing their jobs (or even their lives), we don´t think it´s the right time to celebrate. Nevertheless, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to our employees, stakeholders and everyone else who has stood by us and believed in us from the very beginning.
