ad pepper media acquires the Scandinavian adserving provider eMediate ApSBack to overview
Acquisition expands the palette of products, adding independent ad-management and ad-serving technology.

ad pepper media today announced its 100% takeover of eMediate ApS. The Scandinavian adserving provider offers online marketing technologies for the efficient deliver, management and analysis of online advertising campaigns, thus providing individually tailored adserving and tracking technology for small, medium-sized and large websites.
The takeover presents both ad pepper media and eMediate ApS with equally attractive possibilities for further development and synergy. eMediate ApS will now be able to significantly increase the speed with which it is internationalizing its products and services, and it will be especially well positioned to satisfy websites’ demand for flexible, custom-tailored solutions.
The integration of an independent adserving system above all offers ad pepper media the option of further expanding its existing inhouse systems, and also enables ad pepper media to provide additional services for its webstats4U and its affliliated webmasters.
The clients of both businesses derive advantages from the takeover too. They reap the benefits of bundled expertise, expansion of local market presence in Europe, and a high level of innovative power in the fields of rich media, search-engine marketing and optimization.
“The integration of the new adserving technology into existing in-house systems enables us to offer additional efficient services to the approximately 1,000,000 small and private or commercial websites (micro-publishers) that are currently marketed via the ad pepper network,” explains Ulrich Schmidt, CEO of ad pepper media International. “This is another logical step in the expansion of our market position, and it offers enormous potential for the future.”
The business will continue to be directed by Christoffer Feilberg, the CEO and founder of eMediate, who, together with his management colleagues, has comitted himself to the company a long-term. The entire team will closely collaborate with ad pepper media in the fields of product integration and product development to assure that these aspects can also be implemented internationally.
The successful strategic partnership between ad pepper media and DoubleClick will continue unchanged. DoubleClick’s DART adserver technology will continue to be used as the premium solution for various advertising channels.
The agreed-upon purchase price for eMediate ApS is approximately 5 million euros. This sum consists of a cash component, along with shares of stock in ad pepper media. These shares were created in the way of a capital increase without preemptive rights.
