ad pepper media International N.V. posts further record sales

Nuremberg, Amsterdam, February 10, 2012 – Based on preliminary and unaudited figures, ad pepper media International N.V. closed the 2011 financial year with sales of EUR 56,019k, equivalent to growth of 8.4 percent compared with the previous year’s figure. With sales of EUR 16,297k, the fourth quarter contributed disproportionately to this sales growth (+12.3 percent). Both fourth-quarter sales and sales for the 2011 financial year as a whole represent new record levels in ad pepper media’s history. Key growth drivers were the ad agents (+52 percent) and Webgains (+24 percent) segments, while the ad pepper media segment fell short of expectations with an 11 percent reduction in sales.

EBITDA for the past financial year amounted to EUR -2,218k (2010: EUR 1,720k). With EBITDA of EUR 228k, the company posted pleasing earnings for the fourth quarter, not least due to the superb performance of ad agents and Webgains (Q4 2010: EUR 670k). Both segments generated double-digit EBITDA margins in the final quarter.

For the current financial year, the Management Board expects the positive growth trend to continue, accompanied by a significant overall improvement in key profitability figures.
